Hillside Suites:

Three luxuriously designed suites in complete seclusion,with all the modern comforts you need.
From your own private verandah you will look out onto a view of the valley. Look down across the farm dam which is covered from July till December with “waterblommetjies” – a fragrant water flower which is a delicacy of the Overberg
Stone courtyards, with calming water features, embrace your full, spacious bathroom. This will make your feel you’re in your own private paradise.

Hillside Oak: Rekindle memories of a forgotten grace and surround yourself with the Colonial grandeur of oak, leather and brass.

Hillside Mahogany: Here contemporary design awaits you, with beautiful attention to detail, right up to a “double trouble” shower. Here honeymooners are specially pampered in an environment of peace and privacy.

Hillside Teak: Enjoy to be spoiled in luxury and comfort in a combination of teak and iron work. Laze in your king size bed, with stone designed head board, and enjoy the views from your bed. Shower under African stars in your private outside shower, or shower together in a walk in double shower.

Each room has a well stocked honesty bar, tea and coffee facilities, a little kitchenette, binoculars, hairdrier, soft white cotton gowns, down slippers, and electric blankets in winter. Every room has hot & cold airconditioners, a mini hi-fi with a CD player.

A swimming pool with therapy jets are there to make you even more rejuvenated, or you can just laze around the pool on the wooden deck with an ice cold glass of champagne – read and relax!

If you feel like company, come through to the main lounge where an open log fire, lots of interesting books, invite you to sit back and simply relax.

Each morning you will be treated to a full South African breakfast in the comfort of the farmhouse kitchen. You can decide to sample the local fruit or indulge in a traditional cooked breakfast - or both!

Thys and O’nel are both avid wine connoisseurs and will spoil you with sundowner drinks and snacks, either somewhere in nature, or on your patio. At night guests enjoy pre-dinner drinks, with lively and interesting conversations, and have a gourmet dinner together in the main farmhouse.

Here you will experience the South African lifestyle, excellent home-cooked meals, or traditional fare around an open fire on the verandah and personalised attention – all this makes for an unforgettable experience and fond memories!
